Summer Trips

Western Montana offers some of the finest trout fishing in the country.  We have the opportunity to access most rivers in this region and offer both float fishing and wilderness excursions.  Our ranch facilities are located just off the East Fork of the Bitterroot River, which is a fine fishery boasting 5 species of trout.  We have back country Wilderness camps on two different lakes, with access to several more.  Plan a summer trip or show up early on your elk hunt to take advantage of this unique resource.   Our base of operations is located between Glacier and Yellowstone Parks; making us a convenient stop over point to relax at the ranch, or on the river.  Call us to find out best fishing times, hatch information and  suggested gear information.

Wilderness Pack Trips into the Selway-Bitterroot and Anaconda -Pintler Wilderness areas of Western Montana offer spectacular unsurpassed scenery for the fisherman, photographer, or anyone who just wants to get away and relax. Get into the backcountry away from the noise and pressures of everyday life. Enjoy the relaxation of a comfortable camp and delicious meals prepared over the campfire. Elk, deer, moose, mountain goats, black bear, and many smaller species of wildlife can be seen in their natural setting. Enjoy the thrill of fighting a rainbow or cutthroat trout on one of the beautiful high mountain lakes. An active beaver population ensures some fine fishing in pools and riffles created by their dam- building. Soak in the peacefulness of the wilderness river gently winding its way through the lush meadows and willows. Watch the horses as they lazily feed on the backcountry meadows, dotted with the vivid colors of the mountain wildflowers. The evenings are shared around a campfire and the solitude and beauty of the wilderness will forever be captured in your photographs and memories.
